PIZZA COOK (evenings)
Our bustling cafe in SE Portland is looking for a talented kitchen staff member to support our efforts to expand our existing pizza service in the evenings. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years professional kitchen experience.
  • Basic prep skills.
  • Dependable and punctual in attendance.
  • Positive attitude in a mostly self-directed kitchen environment.
  • Passion for quality and finely crafted food.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle repetitive, light duty lifting.
  • Dedication to high standards of quality, cleanliness, efficiency.
  • In possession of current Oregon Food Handler Certification.

PASTRY TEAM MEMEBER (full time)

Do you enjoy the smell of fresh baked pastries in the morning? Do you want to broaden your baking skills and be part of the team crafting some of the best gluten-free pastries in Portland, including the only fried gluten-free doughnuts? Our pastry team is looking for you. This position involves all aspects of crafting our entire pastry menu, quality control and teamwork. Our baking team also assists our savory line, covering breaks and helping in rushes. At the end of the day all team members take part in daily cleaning of our kitchen space. If this sounds like your kind of fun, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional baking experience.
  • Dependable and punctual attendance.
  • Positive attitude in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
  • Ability to work closely with a team as well as independently.

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF (part time)
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, professional person who loves customer service to join our team in a permanent, front of house/barista position. We are looking for someone with the ability to work both day and evening shifts. Current (Covid19-related hours) daytime shifts begin at 7 am. Evening shifts begin at 4 pm. This position will be 3-4 shifts a week. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen or front of house experience.
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible in attendance.
  • Commitment to a consistent work schedule.
  • Ability to work in a close knit group environment.
  • Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service.
  • Ability to craft consistently delicious espresso drinks with ease.

EXPO/PACKAGING (full time & part time)
After the bread is baked, it's gotta be packaged and orders prepped for the next day's delivery. Our expo team is the crew that gets it done. Daily duties include, but are not limited to slicing and bagging bread, sorting breads for distribution, revising invoices, and evening cleanup. The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualities and requisites:
  • Dependable and punctual in attendance.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Committed to efficiency and excellence.
  • Courteous and professional attitude.
  • Have reliable transportation/means to get to and from our facility.
  • In possession of current Oregon Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Maintain proper food safety guidelines.

BAKER (full time)

This position involves all aspects of crafting our entire family of breads. Our baking team also assists our expediting/packaging team with prepping our products for delivery.
